Load an audio track or a music file into SuperEZ Wave Editor and it will be displayed as waveform. If you want to, you can switch from waveform to spectral view. But I digress. The important bit is not what you see – this can be changed and customized. The important bit is that SuperEZ Wave Editor puts multiple editing options at your disposal. There are lots of ways to edit a track once it has been loaded into SuperEZ Wave Editor.

The minimum system requirements for running SuperEZ Wave Editor are: 500MHZ Pentium 3 processor, 256MB of RAM, 50MB of free disk space, 800x600 16-bit graphics mode, Internet Explorer 6, Windows operating system.
The recommended system requirements for running SuperEZ Wave Editor are: 1GHz processor or better, 512MB of RAM or more, at least 100MB of free disk space, 1024x768 true color graphics mode, Internet Explorer 7 or newer, Windows operating system.

SuperEZ Wave Editor’s interface is just what you would expect from an application of this type. The panel to the left displays several editing options. The panel to the right displays whatever audio file you loaded; by default, the audio file is presented as waveform. Above these two panels there’s a File Menu and a toolbar with shortcuts for various features and functions.

Speaking about features and functions, here’s a quick look at the functionality SuperEZ Wave Editor has to offer: open a locally stored audio file, load a file from a CD, record an audio file; choose between waveform and spectral mode; play audio files; there are lots of effects that you can use; there’s a batch converter utility; there’s a text to speech tool; ID3 tags can be edited; and more.

All the application’s features are available in the trial version. All but one: the Save feature. It must be added here that SuperEZ Wave Editor is free to use for a trial period of 30 days.

A very nice collection of editing options is put at your disposal by SuperEZ Wave Editor.

Pros

The system requirements for running SuperEZ Wave Editor are very low. If you've used similar applications before, you would immediately feel at home with the interface. From this user friendly interface you can easily access lots of audio editing options.

Cons

The setup wizard wants to install additional software. Trial limitations: 30-day evaluation period, the Save feature is disabled, nag screens.
